Project 70
The season 2025-2026 marks, for me, the fantastic moment where I will have been playing piano for 70 years, of which 50 as a professional. To celebrate this moment, I planning to record two new albums. Alongside these, for the season 2025/2026, new Talks, Workshops and Concerts will be planned in Europe and the USA.
The world of music is facing huge economic cutbacks and recording is prohibitively expensive, sound engineers, halls, piano and production costs rapidly add up to very high costs, hence the need for your support. Alongside the various donations you can make, it is possible to arrange private concerts/talks for a negotiated fee.
The two new albums are;
Album 1: ‘1899’ The Enigma Variations from Edward Elgar and various pieces from the lesser known British composer William Baines.
Album 2: Chopin Sonata 3 Op 58 and Brahms Op 117
Your support for this unique and exciting project, will enable me to honour all of this amazing music, simultaneously leaving a record of my experience and personal approach to the piano and hopefully inspire future generations to pursue a similar path.
With warmest regards, Kelvin Grout
